More Information: Matilda was recorded as May Newport in the 1891 Census. According to the 1911 Census, Arthur and Matilda had another child that died before the Census. According to Electoral Rolls, Arthur and Matilda were residents in Abbotsford, Martin, New South Wales, Australia in 1930. The immigration card, when the family arrived in Canada, states the intended destination was Trinidad & Tobago. I cannot find a record for Matilda arriving back in the UK, or traveling with her husband and daughter in 1922 to Trinidad & Tobago. |
